1966 was the year that Gibson Pharmacy began. Lloyd Vincent opened Gibson Pharmacy with the philosophy to build his business using professional people, good service, and discount prices.

The philosophy has held true in serving Northeast Nebraskans since 1966.Lloyd’s Drug Mart was formerly Gibson Pharmacy located in the Gibson’s Discount Store. When Gibson’s Discount Store closed on December 31st, 1995, the pharmacy continued to operate, moving into the remodeled section in August 1997.

Lloyd’s Drug Mart is designed for one-stop shopping. It offers customers a complete line of cosmetics, designer fragrances, jewelry, a gift department featuring collectibles and unique gifts, American Greeting Cards, and party supplies. Lloyd’s also has one of the largest selections of wine, beer, and liquor. When the pharmacy was expanded in 1997 our prescription department doubled in size from the previous department. This resulted in better working conditions for employees and better service to the customer. Throughout the years Lloyd’s continues to thrive in our great community. We are very thankful for our employees and customers throughout the years, and look forward to another great 45 years.
